  • Do you provide copywriting services?
    Currently we provide very limited copywriting services that apply to email lead magnets, sequences or special campaigns. We will offer more extensive services soon.
  • How does it work?
    Sign up in minutes, then hand us your tasks and move on to your more pressing items while we complete those things that get in the way of your productivity. Send one task our way, or ten and not task is to big or too small. It's as simple as that!
  • Can you do large projects and/or business process operations consistently with enterprise level service?
    That sounds like a custom request and yes we certainly can! You would need to provide us with more specific details, so go to the home page and click the button for the Custom Package.
  • Can you do rush tasks?
    We can handle most time-sensitive tasks, within reason. Please type "time sensitive" and note the deadline by which you need the task completed in your request. We cannot make any guarantees, but we will certainly give you a response either way.
  • What's the average turnaround time on a task?
    We try our best to complete tasks as soon as possible and pride ourselves on being fast and thorough. Some tasks will only take a few hours and others longer, but we will always keep the lines of communication open and provide the quickest turnaround.
  • What doesn't Task Birdie do?
    There are in fact a few things that we don't do... yet. But we're constantly looking for ways to grow our capabilities even more. And if we don’t do it chances are we know someone who does and can point you in the right direction. Just ask! In-person tasks. (We work virtually, but can schedule in-person services.) Legal, accounting or HR. (These are highly specialized roles.) Full time customer support. (We can handle a few outbound calls, but not inbound calls.) Sales. (Cold calling and lead follow-up is best left to the sales team!) Receptionist Service. (We can make the occasional call, but we can’t be available all day.) Marketing, (We can help with research and more, but we leave the marketing plan creation to the pros!) Coaching or Consulting. (We are not experts on brand building, social media, designing, marketing or advertising but we can certainly point you in the right direction. Just ask us!)
  • What if I have a task that I want repeated?
    You can schedule a recurring request! We have Monthly Packages that will take care of your recurring tasks.
  • I purchased a Monthly Package, when will it renew (when will I get billed)?"
    Monthly packages renew and are billed on the first of every month, unless arranged differently in advance. Hours do not carryover and start fresh on the first of each month.
  • What is the status of my task? When should I expect a response?
    We do our best to answer every request as quickly as possible. Sometimes it's a few minutes, sometimes a few hours, sometimes a few days (depending on business hours and/or holidays). If it's time-sensitive, we'll do our best to accommodate. If you haven't heard from us in a while, it’s likely communication was lost in translation. Feel free to email and we'll respond as soon as possible.
  • How do I cancel a task once it's been submitted?
    Send us an email and let us know you don't need our help anymore. We'll stop helping.
  • Can I cancel a recurring task anytime?
    Of course. Contact us prior to your next billing cycle and we'll take care of your request. If you have already been billed, your cancellation request will not take effect until the following month. Unfortunately, we do not offer prorated refunds or cancellations for unused time.
  • Do my hours roll over?
    Not at this time. Each package offers a different level of service, however you will receive a report at the end of each task (or month) with an update on your total time. The time that was not used will not rollover.
  • How about video or audio editing?
    Much like design work, audio and video editing requires domain expertise which we don't provide. However, we know the best and can certainly point you in the right direction. Send us a custom request and we will respond with some possible options.
  • What if I need more hours?
    If you go over your limit you can purchase additional hours at anytime.
  • Is there a setup fee?
    No. Your chirp task, monthly, or custom package fee is the only charge. Period.
  • How are my hours tracked?
    We keep a running total of your hours and send you a report when your task is complete or when at the end of the month (for those on monthly packages). Also, feel free to ask us for a report at any time. If you are running out of time we will notify you ahead of that.
  • Can my VA keep my inbox organized?
    They can! Delegating your Gmail inbox to your VA to read, send, and delete messages on your behalf is a great way to stay on top of email and keep your inbox tidy. VAs typically work out of Gmail, though we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • Can my VA edit and format a presentation for me?
    They sure can. Your VA can use Google Presentations to format and edit personal or business presentations with your provided content, images and detailed instructions.
  • Can my VA work with my project management tools or other specialized software?
    While we do not offer specific training for specialized software, your VA will be more than happy to assist if you are able to provide instruction. Please note that we are unable to provide support for any software requiring local desktop download.
  • Can my VA help with my accounting needs?
    Your VA will happily find you an excellent bookkeeper or CPA. However, due to certain legalities and a specific knowledge of the domain, VAs are unable to provide assistance with Quickbooks or other accounting tools.
  • Can my VA do design work for me?
    Your VA , as talented as they are, cannot personally provide assistance with design projects. However, we have a preferred service for all of your design needs. Let us know when you are ready to take advantage of that design service.
  • Can my VA handle scheduling?
    Absolutely. Your VA can coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage your Google Calendar with ease. Simply share and grant your VA access to manage your calendar. It is that simple! VAs exclusively use and manage Google Calendars, though we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • Can my VA make purchases on my behalf?
    Not at this time. Your VA can research and prepare orders for you to purchase but are not allowed to make purchases on your behalf for numerous legal reasons.
  • Can my VA make outbound phone calls for me?
    They sure can but with some limitations. Your VA is happy to contact vendors, make reservations, and place phone calls for you but they cannot make sales or prospecting calls to solicit customers.
  • How about in-bound phone calls?
    Yes and no. Every VA will be accessible to you by phone. However, this line is available for your convenience alone. Your VA cannot accept calls from contacts, vendors, or service providers on your behalf. Communication with these individuals and companies will only be done via email.
  • Can my VA work for me even though I'm in a different country?
    Yes, we service clients worldwide, as long as we can speak English to complete your task.
  • What are my VAs qualifications?
    You will have a college-educated, U.S. based assistant. You will have a smart, swift, and savvy assistant with armfuls of patience at our consoles. Good at making professoinal moves to get things done!
  • If a VA makes calls for me, how will they introduce themselves?"
    We will tell the party we're ringing that we're your assistant, and that we're calling on your behalf.
  • Where will my VA be located?
    We're located in the United States. We currently have clients in over 60 countries and can happily support your needs—wherever you are. Please be aware that your VA will be working from the U.S. time zone (EST/PST).
  • Will my VA be working on the weekend?
    We work standard business hours and are not required or expected to work on weekends or after 6 p.m. You can submit your tasks anytime. If submitted before/after business hours, we will receive the task(s) the following business day.
